SignManager - Managing The Print Process
SignManager™ is the backround service responsible for coordinating SignStation, SignEngine and the entire printing process. The SignStation browser application connects directly with SignManager, allowing SignStation to save sign groups to the underlying database and exercise control over its assigned printers. Through SignManger, SignStation initiates the generation of signage via the SignEngine component.

SignManger is always on, working silently in the background even when store associates are not. When corporate sign groups are ready for in-store printing SignManager can print them without store associate intervention, no matter the time of day - even overnight. With automated printing signs are waiting on the printer to be hung when your store assocates arrive in the morning.

Real-time print monitoring means every sign group is actively monitored as it's printed to allow store associates to know precicely how long printing will take and when user interaction, if any, will be required for printing to proceed.

SignManager maintains a direct connection with all printers at the store allowing instant awareness of any change in printer operations. Paper jams, trays out of stocks, or printer offline messages are instantly communicated to the SignStation browser application, alerting store associates not only of the problem, but also informing them on how to easily fix it.
